An incomplete cast lead-alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla. The artefact would have been flask-shaped only the rounded, semi-circular lower chamber survives. The ampulla is decorated bifacially on the lower chamber. On one surface are numerous incised grooves to create an X. edge. On the other surface there appear to two simple lines forming an X. The ampulla is 27.95mm in length, 30.0mm wide, 5.4mm thick and weighs 16.6 grams

An incomplete cast, copper alloy hooked tag of the early post-medieval period, dating from 1500-1600 AD. It has a trapezoidal upper loop and a circular body with seven small, equidistantly spaced knops. The body has a central, flat, area delineated by a raised ring, surrounded by seven equidistantly spaced, circular piercings, one between each of the seven knops, two further perforations are located just above the incomplete hook. The hooked tag is 32.75mm in length, 19.2mm in width, 2.55mm, thick and weighs 2.6 grams.

Cast copper alloy strap fitting (belt mount) of post-medieval date (1600-1700). The strap fitting is irregular in plan. The overall decorative design consists of two conjoined oval knops with a pointed projection. The reverse face of the fitting is irregular but broadly flat and undecorated. Two cast sub-rectangular projections (hooks) extend from either end of the fitting. The fitting measures 18.9mm length, 10.8mm width, is 4.6mm thick and weighs 1.3grams

A broken pointed end of a finely worked bifacial tool of translucent brown flint with light and mid grey inclusions. It has been totally invasively worked. The plan is a pointed symmetrical leaf shape, very much like a leaf arrow head but for a somewhat thicker section. Close to the slightly oblique break the sharp margin has been slightly blunted which suggests that the tool was a kind of knife. The implement is 30.9mm in length, 33.35mm wide, 8.3mm thick and weighs 8.4 grams

Copper alloy buckle or brooch. The artefact is broadly circular in plan with a constriction for the pin which is missing, the edges of the brooch are bevelled. There is a crude animal head which projects from the frame opposite the constriction, which depicts two eyes and a snout. The projection has a recess to hold the pin. The reverse is flat and undecorated. Length 1836.85mm, width 32.1mm, thickness 3.2mm, weight 6.5g. Compare Egan and Pritchard 1991, Dress Accessories p. 65 no 212.

An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy annular buckle, two fragments survive. The frame is incomplete part of the pin bar is extant. The frame and pin bar are circular in cross section. The buckle is decorated with with a zigzag incision running along the front face of the frame. Similar decoration on a annular buckle can be found in Egan 1991 p.61 fig. 213 dating to 1400-1450. The buckle is larger than the published example and had a pin bar, a broader date of 1400 - 1650 is suggested. Parts of the surviving frame are heavily worn and the pin is missing. A cast copper alloy trumpet brooch of Roman date. The bow head has no wings and in plan the bow head is a horizontal oval. The bow head has a transverse incision above the bow below the incomplete lug. The upper edge has a trace of a integral lug, originally a fixed headloop. On the reverse of the bow head there are the remains of two vertical sub-oval integral lugs with a central perforation. The spring partially survives. A cast, copper alloy cosmetic pestle from a Late Iron Age or Romano-British cosmetic pestle and mortar set, dating from 100 BC - 400 AD though the main period of use seems to have been in the 1st and 2nd century. It is broadly crescent shaped in plan with a single loop at one end. The loop is incomplete due to an old break. The pestle is roughly oval in cross section and is pitted, it is heavily worn towards the loop. The pestle is 57.75mm in length, 15.9mm in width, 5.05mm thick and weighs 7.2 grams.

A complete copper alloy rod of uncertain date, possibly Roman or Medieval in date. The artefact has a circular cross section at the end with the perforation and a square cross section at the other end. The perforation is just below the tip. The artefact is possibly a stylus, styluses do appear in copper alloy, the end usual tapers, there are no examples with a perforation. A pendant weight has also been suggested, the examples on the database are often lead and of a medieval date. The artefact is 70.6mm in length, 6.35mm thick and weighs 13.1 grams.
