Early-medieval open-work copper-alloy cast incomplete mount. The mount bears a number of similarities to the Winchester style, foliate decorated strap ends. The mount is triangular in form and tapers to a rounded point at the base. There is a vestigial plate at the top which is decorated with six incised notches, below the mount thickens. The mount is decorated with stylised inhabited plant-scroll. On reverse at the tip is a large attachment spike, at the bottom of the mount is an incomplete attachment spike. The reverse is undecorated.
