Furniture Fitting, possibly a drawer handle. A cast rectangular bar of trapezoid section with a thickened lug at either end; both lugs retain traces of iron pins. The display face bears five punched lozengeform motifs within a linear border. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800. Length: 33.65mm, Width: 8.5mm, Thickness (at lugs): 8.4mm, Weight: 7.3gms.

A copper-alloy incomplete Medieval buckle plate. The plate was constructed by folding a long narrow strip of copper alloy in half, leaving a slight gap at the fold. The plate is rectangular, it tapers from a surviving width of 17.5mm at the hinge to 14.95mm at the other end, now broken. All the edges appear to be broken, but it is possible to discern fragmentary plate recesses, either square notches or oblique angles. There is iron corrosion at the tip, possibly from a broken loop. The weight thickens towards the base which has a pointed knop. The artefact is corroded and slightly pitted in places. A cast lead alloy (possibly pewter) fragment possibly from a whistle of post medieval or early modern date (1650 - 1900 although probably 19th century). The fragment consists of the lower part of the cylindrical body of the whistle and the perforated knop shaped terminal with a slight lip. The outer surface is decorated with a series of cast crosses and flowers. The artefact is a mid grey colour with a slightly shiny grey surface. A cast copper alloy trumpet brooch of Roman date. The bow head has no wings and in plan the bow head is a horizontal oval. The bow head has a number of transverse incisions above the bow below the lug, there is a small perforation on one of the incisions. The upper edge has a trace of a decorated integral lug, originally a fixed headloop. On the reverse of the bow head there are two vertical sub-oval integral lugs with a central perforation. An incomplete cast copper alloy probable Colchester derivative Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Group 4.a-b, flat wing ends type) brooch of Roman date (80-120 AD). The brooch is incomplete, the head, wings and part of the bow survive. The foot, spring, the pin, bow and catch plate are missing. In plan, the brooch is almost T-shaped, and oval in cross section. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Aesica (Crescent type) brooch of Roman date, (AD 50 - AD 75). Much of the semi-cylindrical wings are lost as well as the chord-hook that would have retained an external chord. The bow is strongly arched. Traces of vertical ribbing are barely visible on the front face of the bow, one raised vertical rib has a horizontal rib at the tip. The crescent type plate is incomplete the fan tail tip is missing. A group of 3,874 Roman radiates within a Severn Valley Ware narrow mouthed storage jar dating from the Emperor Philip II to the Emperor Probus (244-282 AD). The coins range in date from AD 244-282 (the coins of the emperor Probus include his final issues from Lyon which carry the letters A-D marking the four workshops of the mint). A incomplete cast copper-alloy unidentified object on possible Iron Age or Roman date. It has been suggested that this could be an incomplete linch pin. The artefact has a sub square central section with two curved protrusions which turn upwards and taper to a point. There are two vertical parallel incisions which delineate the central boss from the two protrusions. The artefact is incomplete, there is an old break at the tip. The buckle is 14.15mm in length, 29.05mm wide, 4.85mm thick and weighs 5.4 grams.

An incomplete cast copper alloy two-part swivelling strap fitting of Medieval date. The receiving component is missing, the other component comprises a loop with a rounded D shaped aperture. Either side of the aperture has raised borders and incisions possibly depicting animal heads. They appear to be gripping a linking bar which forms the outer part of the frame. A prominent collar forms the junction between the loop and the cone; the latter has been left plain. The strap fitting is 27.65mm in length, 18.8mm wide, 6.8mm thick and weighs 5.0 grams.

A complete copper-alloy buckle with a integral plate of Medieval date (c. 1250 -c. 1400). The cast copper alloy frame is circular and in plan with sides that are slightly convex. It has a rectangular outside edge, flat on both faces, with a central pin slot on the upper face.
