A copper alloy and iron Roman furniture fitting dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The fitting is circular in plan and consists of a dished upper disc 9.65mm in diameter which narrows into the circular shaft 4.8mm in diameter and then widens to a diameter of 7.65mm. The bottom of the fitting has an iron shank 4.45mm wide and 5.8mm in length.

A copper-alloy enamelled heraldic harness mount of Medieval date possibly of Hugh Le Despenser. The mount is shield shaped in plan with a projecting stud on the reverse face which has been bent downwards. The front face of the mount is decorated with multiple motifs. The shield is split into four quarters with a transverse diagonal groove running along the mounts length. The blazon reads: Quarterly: 1 and 4 (metal); 2 and 3 gules fretty (metal with surviving red enamel); overall a bendlet (colour). A complete probable Roman cast lead-alloy steelyard weight (AD 43-410) with copper-alloy loop. The weight is bi-conical in form with a copper-alloy suspension loop at the apex. Attached to the suspension loop is a further copper-alloy projection.This weight is corroded and is pale buff and off-white. The steelyard weight is 40.95mm in height, 39.9mm wide and weighs 269 grams.

A rim sherd of a Roman black-burnished ware jar, probably BB2, dating from the early Roman period, probably 2nd-3rd century AD. The sherd is in very good condition, made from fine, sandy grey fabric with few quartzite inclusions. The outside surface of the sherd still retains the black burnished slip that is typical for this type of local Roman pottery. The sherd is 49.15mm in length, 39.45mm wide, 15.65mm thick and weighs 21.69 grams.

An incomplete copper-alloy medieval sheet buckle plate. The longer front plate appears to be partially incomplete (24.55mm in length and 18.85mm wide). The plate narrows towards the attachment. Located inbetween the two tabs is a central perforation which would have held the pin which is missing. A fragment of the pin bar survives. Below the central perforation are two copper-alloy rivets with flattened heads on the front face. The reverse plate is 14.45mm in length and 13.15mm wide. A fragment of a corroded cast copper-alloy unidentified object of probable Roman date. The curved fragment is broadly oval in cross section (5.75mm wide and 4.65mm thick). Broadly in the centre of the surviving section is a rectangular projection which is broadly circular in cross section (8.85mm wide). The artefact bears some similarity to a terret harness fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date. The artefact is 27.8mm in length, 8.85mm wide, 11.4mm thick and weighs 3.94 grams..
