Number 3 on the attached photographs. A crude waste blade flake, weighing 4.76g. Early Mesolithic to Late Mesolithic (circa 8300 - 3500 BC). The striking platform is very small, and shows signs of preparation. The bulb of percussion can be seen on the ventral surface. There is a protruding knot at the tip of the dorsal face and possible evidence of retouch where an attempt has been made to remove it.

Number 5 on the attached photographs. A waste flake, which itself has had multiple bladelets removed from its surface. One end of the flake looks as though it may have been knapped (through secondary working) into a rough burin shape. The clean notch was possibly used for removing bark or straightening arrow shafts. Mesolithic (circa 8300 - 3500 BC). The flake weighs 7.11g. Some of the natural cortex survives on the dorsal surface of the flint.

Number 2 on the attached photographs. A crude bifacially worked leaf-shaped arrowhead, weight 2.36g, dating from the Late Mesolithic to Middle Neolithic (circa 6500 - 2500 BC). There is a protruding knot in the centre of the dorsal face. On the ventral surface the bulb and scars are very shallow and there is a small notch missing from the right edge, though this is probably due to later damage.

Number 1 on the attached photographs. A small bladelet flake, weighing 3.79g. Mesolithic (circa 8300 - 3500 BC) in date. On the ventral surface the bulb and scars are very shallow and there is a small notch missing from the right edge of the flint possibly created for the production of microliths, this notch would have been placed in an anvil so the flint could have been broken accurately. Some of the natural cortex survives on the dorsal surface of the flint. Both terminals of the flake have been broken.

Number 4 on the attached photographs. A microlith bladelet waste flake, weighing 2.52g. Small microlithic have been removed from the surface of this flake, before it was removed from the core. Early Mesolithic to Late Mesolithic (circa 8300 - 3500 BC). On the ventral surface the bulb is not visible though ripples of percussion are evident. On the dorsal surface there is some possible retouch along the right edge.

Number 3 on the attached photographs. A microlith blade flake, weighing 1.30g. Early Mesolithic to Late Mesolithic (circa 8300 - 3500 BC). On the ventral surface the bulb is not visible, due to a break though ripples of percussion are evident. The dorsal surface shows signs of platform preparation, there is some possible wear along the left edge, and the tip of the flake shows some evidence of retouch. The flake fits comfortably in the right hand because of a notch which has been removed from the left edge of the ventral face, this coincides with the wear on the left of the dorsal …

Number 4 on the attached photographs. Small bladelet flake, weighing 1.11g. Early Mesolithic to Late Mesolithic (circa 8300 - 3500 BC). On the ventral surface the bulb and scars are almost non existent. There is possible evidence of wear on the left edge of the dorsal surface and the tip of the flake shows some evidence of retouch. It is likely the flake was produced by the breaking of a larger blade to produce smaller bladelets.
