Cast copper alloy Late Iron Age-Early Roman strap fitting dated to 100BC-100AD. There is a vertical strap bar attached to the main body which consists of interlocking loops with a central boss. There is a disc on the reverse of the object which projects 4mm back from the object surface. This projection is set at 90 degrees. No parallel has been found although some Iron-Age baldric rings from Sussex such as SUSS-913C68 are similarly constructed.

Cast copper alloy strap fastener. Late Iron Age 1st century AD in date. Boss form fastener within an ‘eye’ shape oval lozenge attached to a solid shank. This shank tapers outwards to the opposing boss terminus. The reverse of the topmost boss demonstrates the original position of the attachment loop although this is broken. The piece is suffering greatly from bronze disease. Used as cloak fasteners and for military equipment.

Cast copper alloy ornate terret ring. Dates to the late Iron Age-early Roman period 1st century AD. Damaged quatrefoil convex skirt with two integral rivets (each 3.5mm diameter) on the underside. It collars around the top where there is an integral loop. The loop is decorated with 3 perpendicular integral knops which are set equally apart-21mm- one on either side of the loop and one on the top. It would have been connected to a horse's harness pad or yoke for the driving reins to pass through. There are generally two per horse and often decorative.
