A damaged, incomplete copper-alloy Thimble of Post Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1650. It's top measuring 15.22mm in diameter survives undamaged, as does the pit design radiating out from it's centre. The body has been compressed and cracked / broken from the base upward in two places. Eight lines of pits circle downwards in a clockwise direction, leaving an unmarked band 3.25mm wide, around the bottom edge.

A copper-alloy Thimble from a Post Medieval date c: AD 1500 - 1600. It has suffered compression damage to it's top and body, which has three separate vertical cracks from it's bottom edge upwards. A pattern of stamped pits starts in the middle of the top, (diameter 14.52mm), and radiates out to it's edge. Then six rows of stamped pits spiral down it's sides in a clock-wise direction towards it's base. A plain band 2.75mm wide circles it's base edge. In spite of the damage it has accrued in antiquity, it is in fair condition.

A complete copper-alloy Thimble of a medieval date, c. AD 1300 - 1500. Its domed top is 14.5mm in diameter, and is covered with a design of pits which radiate from its centre to its edge. The sides have a rather haphazard decoration of pits. Some as vertical double lines from base to top, others appearing to have been randomly struck over the surface. There is a single perforation on the edge of the dome, probably accidentally caused in antiquity rather than intentional. The object is in fair condition, and although a little worn, retains its original shape.
