An early Post Medieval hammered sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603). The coin is from the 7th issue dated AD 1602. Surface of the obverse quite worn, but  just possible to see the Crown on the head of the Bust. The reverse has a square-topped shield on long cross fourch'ee, with date 1602 above. Minted at The Tower of London. Dimensions:  Diameter 25.33mm, thickness 0.55mm and weight 2.6g.  Die Axis 1 o'clock.

A worn and damaged Medieval Silver Venetian Soldino of Michele Steno, dated c. AD1400 - 1413. Obverse :shows Doge standing facing left holding Standard, Star in right field over "D". Obverse legend reads: MICHA[EL ST]EN DVX. Reverse shows: A winged and nimbate Lion of St Mark facing. Reverse legend reads: S M[ARCVS V]ENETI. Obverse surface visibly cracked from 11 o'clock to 3 o'clock. Dimensions: Diameter 14.3mm, thickness 0.3mm and weight 0.4gm. A similar example can be found on the PAS Database, GLO-576887.

A heavily worn Post-Medieval silver sixpence from the sole reign of William III, AD 1694-1702. This coin dates to AD1699 - 1702. It has been bent twice, into an "S" shape, indicating it has been used as a Love Token. Most of the coin's surface detail has been deliberately worn away, with none of the details of the legends surviving and only the faint outline of the top of William's bust remaining. Dimensions: Diameter 20.3mm, thickness 0.5mm and weight 2.3gm. Die axis is uncertain.

A complete silver and glass button from a Post-Medieval - Modern period c.AD 1700 - 1900. The button back is comprised of a silver hollow dome, with an attachment loop on its apex. The front of the button has a faceted clear glass stone inserted in the hollow 'cupped side' of the domed back, held in place by six moulded claws around its rim. There are also two concentric incised lines of decoration around the button's reverse circumference. It is in good condition. Dimensions:- Diameter 12.75mm, thickness 8.8mm and weight 2.3g.
