A fragment of a copper alloy spoon, probably dating to the second or third centuries AD. The fragment comprises the bowl and a small portion of the stem. The bowl is mandolin shaped in plan and its upper surface exhibits traces of tinning. On the underside is a triangular ridge which expands and extends to form the offset stem. The stem is missing although a triangular grooved and ridged extension is intact. The object is well preserved and the metal is brown in colour. It weighs 8.2g and measures 55.34mm in length. A lead vessel mount dating to the Medieval period. The mount is curved in plan and rectangular in section. At one end there is a carved lion's head that includes facial features and ears. A pattern of incised diagonal lines at either side of an incised central line continue along the length of the object. It weighs 88.9g and measures 52.34mm in length and 11.36mm in width. The diameter of the lion's head is 20.33mm and the thickness is 7.35mm. The metal is grey in colour.

A copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The matrix consists of a hexagonal suspension loop attached to a sub rectangular shank and a circular panel. The circular panel is decorated with an image of a stag in the centre of an incised circular border. The inscription around the edge of the panel reads CIV__L. The matrix is worn and the metal is dark brown. It weighs 9.0g and measures 21.69mm in height. The diameter of the circular panel is 18.18mm in diameter and the width of the loop is 9.03mm.

A copper alloy nail cleaner with moulded neck, dating to the Roman period. The object consists of a circular termination that is fixed to the ridged shank and a sub triangular panel. The circular termination is undecorated, although there is evidence of a perforation that is on the same plane as the shank. The only decoration on the object is roughly carved facial features. The figure is shown crossing the left leg behind the right. The object is badly worn and is missing both arms and the metal is green. It weighs 42.0g and measures 65.85mm in length, 24.16mm in width and is 12.7mm thick.

The object has a hollow interior where the body of the object is and there are marks on the reverse of the face which suggests that it has been mounted onto another object. The metal is dark green in colour and there are marks on the object, but otherwise it is in good condition. It weighs 22.7g and measures 31.53mm in length, 25.60mm in width and is 13.56mm thick.

A lead figurine in the shape of an African person's head, with a sub rectangular shank protruding where the body should be. The head is slightly upturned and there is appears to be a carved hat on top of the head. The face is carved into the lead and a neck is apparent. It weighs 82.7g and measures 62.99mm in length, the head is 19.12mm wide and the face is 24.48mm thick. Several similar objects can be found on this database (e.g. NARC-DC03B3, KENT5054, IOW-B47783, SWYOR-790331). They come from the lids of tobacco jars and probably date to the 18th century.

A copper alloy brooch dating to the Roman period. The brooch is of the headstud type: there is an empty bezel on the top of the bow which is typical of this class of Roman Brooch. The brooch itself dates to betwen the early Flavian period (AD 69) to the end of the 2nd century AD. It is T shaped in plan, with a curved bow.
