A cast copper alloy 13th century seal matrix. The matrix appears to be in a mix of Latin and French, and reads: *A IESV/DONE/SV - Jesus (or I am) (IESV) given to (DONE) you/one/all (SV) and so can mean either 'this letter is given to you' or 'Jesus is given to you'. The central motif is a bird of prey walking right looking back with wings raised.
