Copper alloy duit of the Low Countries (Netherlands). Minted in 1786 in Utrecht. These were minted between 1739 and 1793 and were normal coinage of the Low Countries which were at the time split into provinces. This example was minted at the Utrecht province. They were used in England to remedy the shortage of small change at the time
