Cast copper alloy handle, possibly from a drawer, Medieval in date. It is unclear whether the ends are broken, and so the piece is complete. The main part is C-shaped in plan, with a small extension at one end. It is facetted, giving it a pentagonal cross section. Marks can be seen on the surface which are file marks.

Cast copper alloy late Medieval- Post Medieval chape, dating from c. 1400- 1600. Only the front (domed) half remains, the flat back having broken away. In plan the chape has a semi-circular lower half with a small extension knop at the base. It is decorated with incised lines, giving a scallop effect which meet at the centre in a semi-circular hollow. Above this are two circular holes, one to the left and one to the right of this hollow. The upper half is narrower, and sub-rectangular, with crenellations at the top edge. Near the top is a heart-shaped hole.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval buckle dating to c. 900- 1100 AD. It is D-shaped in plan with a narrowed strap bar. The terminals of the loop are zoomorphic in form with the strap bar connecting two heads of animals, their mouths are open, almost as though they are biting the bar. These are stylised animals seen on various objects from this period and could be dogs/dragons/dolphins, it is difficult to see. They have a rounded head with inset eyes and an elongated snout. Cast copper alloy Post Medieval belt fitting. It is a mount, which would have had a loop to attach hanging pieces to the belt. It is a pointed oval shape in plan, with the main body being domed and hollow on the reverse. At the top is a circular hole, where a rivet would have attached the mount to the belt. The lower end is solid, and has a collar made of three moulded horizontal lines. Below this is the remnants of the broken attachment loop which is set perpendicular to the mount.

Cast copper alloy Roman penannular brooch, a Fowler Type A3, dating to c.100- 350 AD. The brooch itself is complete, although the pin is broken. The brooch has been squashed out of shape, probably whilst in the ground. It has golbular terminals, each with a single moulded collar. One of the terminals appears to have an extra bit of metal, it could be a mis-cast which was not cleaned up. Ring (from harness?) Cast copper alloy circular ring, with flat upper and lower faces, and facetted edges, giving it an almost hexagonal cross section. This object could have been used as a harness fitting, but it is impossible to be sure of its function. Parallels: Rings like this could be put to many uses, and are found on sites of all periods, so it is impossible to be certain of an Iron Age date for this find. Strap fitting/ Mount Fragment of an enamelled cast copper alloy mount. This object appears to have been rectangular in plan when complete, although it may have formed part of a larger mount or fitting. The long edges of the rectangular plate have a lip projecting downwards. The object is broken along both of the shorter sides. The upper surface is decorated with inlaid enamel. Cast copper alloy fragment of a Post Medieval drawer handle. It has a strip of copper alloy folded over through the top loop, presumably to attach the fitting to the drawer. The main body has a rectangular attachment loop with protruding corners and a raised lower line. It then narrows to a neck, before widening into what would have been a sub-rectangular body with leaf/floriate design on the front. This has broken only a short way down.
