Iron blade, probably a knife, most likely Post Medieval in date. The knife begins to curve around half way down the blade. At this point it also narrows (from 20.46mm to 7.57mm). It seems to have a rectangular cross section. It is very corroded and so little detail can be seen on it. Iron tools such as this take a similar form over many centuries and so stray finds such as this are difficult to date precisely. Due to corrosion levels in the area it is unlikely this is pre the Post Medieval period as it would probably not have survived.

Copper alloy tool, possibly for splicing rope/wire or leather working. Post Medieval in date. It is cylindrical, narrowing to a point at one end. It has a drak grenish-brown patina with some of the original surface missing due to corrosion.
