Cast copper alloy fragment of a Roman terret ring, a platform decorated type, dating to the 1st century AD.
It has a cast-in-one copper alloy bar which is thinner and rectangular in section, compared to the hoop. The hoop when complete would have been sub-circular in plan with three flattened oval discs attached, one at the top and two at the sides. Less than half of the hoop remains, with just one disc/platform which has been enamelled with a central blue dot, surrounded by red. The disc measures 9.04mm, by 12.25 mm.

Cart fitting
Large copper alloy pin with tapering conical shaft and balustered head, with an incised line around the circumference of the pin at the base of the head. Possibly the terminal of a copper alloy and iron linch pin, although the long tapering copper alloy pin would be unusual. One side of the pin is heavily encrusted with iron corrosion, supporting the suggestion that this formed part of a larger object which included iron components.
