A cast copper alloy Post Medieval bell. The bell is sub cylindrical, flaring at the bottom. The bell frame is present, whilst the actual bell itself is not. It is decorated with two incised lines around the bottom edge and three circular perforations at regular intervals that cut the lines. The metal is dark green at the bottom of the object and rusting at the top.

A cast copper alloy Medieval Brooch probably dating to between 1050-1550. The brooch is annular with an internal diameter of 19.48mm, it is missing the pin. There are four collets at regular intervals, one still holds a blue stone. At opposing ends are two incised ridges. The reverse is undecorated. The metal is brown and poorly preserved. Parallels can be found in Egan, G., Griffiths, D and Philpott, R.A. (2007) Meols: The Archaeology of the North Wirral Coast, pg.142f.

According to Whitehead the earliest examples of the buckles of this type are 14th century however, the majority are dated to the 16th/17th century. A Parallel can be found in Whitehead, R. (2003) Buckles 1250-1800, Essex: Greenlight Publishing, pg. 74f, no. 465.

A pair of copper alloy Tweezers. The tweezers are probably Late or Post Roman. They were probably made from one sheet of copper alloy that has been beaten out and then shaped. There is a loop at the top and long blades that curve in at the bottom. The blades have been bent halfway. The metal is dark green and the preservation is good. Parallels can be observed in Crummy, N. (1995) Colchester Archaeological Report 2, Colchester Archaeological Trust, pg. 59, no. 1877 and 1879.
