A cast copper alloy Wirral brooch dating to the Roman period, c.100-200 AD. It was a hinged brooch. The head is sub semi-circular in plan and on the reverse has a narrowed, integral and horizontal tube with a slot in the centre. Within the tube a copper alloy axis bar is visible. A fragment of a probable cast copper alloy and iron padlock of early post-medieval date. The fragment measures 18.2mm by 20.6mm by 10.4mm and weighs 10.9g. It comprises a broadly cylindrical section with an oval cross-section which has a longitudinal circular-sectioned iron bar through the centre and an S-shaped arm on one side. There is an old break on the other side which may indicate the former presence of a symmetrical arm on the other side. On both front and back there are incised vertical and diagonal lines. A copper alloy jetton, Medieval in date, most likely 15th century, French in origin. The obverse has three fleur-de-lis in the centre with a legend around the outside. The legend is not clear due to wear but it also appears to be of the garbled type. The reverse has a tripl- stranded cross with fleur-de-lys as terminals, this is inside a rounded quadrilobe, inside a beaded circle. No legend is visible but this may be due to mis-striking, the design is not centred.

Lead skirt from a female toy/figurine, Post Medieval in date. This is the skirt from a 2D toy from the Post Medieval period. It is triangular in plan with a flattened tip, this end is broken and is where the body of the female would have extended from the skirt. It is decorated only on the front, all in relief, being plain on the reverse. A cast, lead token dating to the Late Medieval period, probably the 14th - 15th century. The token is sub circular with crude edges. The weight is decorated with a longcross pommey with a pellet in the centre and acrs forming a four point star. A similar example can be found in the Salisbury Museum Catalogue, part 3, edited by Peter Saunders, page 100. The reverse is illegible and the metal is light green.

A pair of copper alloy Tweezers. The tweezers are probably Late or Post Roman. They were probably made from one sheet of copper alloy that has been beaten out and then shaped. There is a loop at the top and long blades that curve in at the bottom. The blades have been bent halfway. The metal is dark green and the preservation is good. Parallels can be observed in Crummy, N. (1995) Colchester Archaeological Report 2, Colchester Archaeological Trust, pg. 59, no. 1877 and 1879.

A cast copper alloy Medieval to Post Medieval buckle. The buckle is rectangular and double looped. It is undecorated. The central stem is slightly off centre. According to Whitehead the earliest examples of the buckles of this type are 14th century however, the majority are dated to the 16th/17th century. A Parallel can be found in Whitehead, R. (2003) Buckles 1250-1800, Essex: Greenlight Publishing, pg. 74f, no. 465.
