A possible Modern collar badge c.AD1900-1920. It appears incomplete, or possibly mis-cast. It has a semi-circular lower section, with the rounded end at the base. At the top is a trefoil motif, with hollows in each foil on the front. Despite looking like a button, these weights were and are used to weigh down the hems of curtains, and perhaps also skirts. Copper alloy fragment, possibly from an early tambourine type instrument, probably 19th century in date. It comprises a 3-sided rectangular frame with a bar half way down the long sides connecting the two sides. On this bar are two circular discs which would have been free to move and rattled to make the noise.

Cast copper alloy miniature anvil. Most likely made as a toy and dating to the 19th century. It appears complete and is a typical anvil shape. There is a central rectangular body with a conical spike from the 2 short sides at the top. Geoff Egan has seen a photograph of this object and says it is possible it was used for very fine metalwork but that there should be a more substantial integral means of fixture.

Cast lead owl standing 52mm high, probably dating to the 18/19th centuries. It is solid and has detail on both faces. The owl is depicted with large eyes, a hooked beak, pointed ears and detail on the wing, breast and tail being picked out. It appears to have been attached to something as there is a broken base, measuring 12mm in diameter, at the end of the feet. Cast lead/pewter figurine of a panther or other type of large cat which stands 29mm high. It is running and has all legs outstretched. It appears complete but there is wear around the face and at the end of the legs. There are casting seams visible around the edges of the figurine. This was probably a toy and most likely dates to the 19th or 20th centuries.

Silver shilling from South Africa. Minted in Pretoria it is a Transvaal and Orange Free State Shilling from 1895. It has been cut out from the reverse design which is a man smoking a pipe and wearing a top hat. It was probably used as a pendant as there is the remains of an attachment.
