Fragment of copper alloy, possibly of a decorative function. It is irregular in shape, with most of the edges being broken and uneven. In cross-section it is slightly domed. It is curved. The back face is plain, the front face has some decoration in the form of incised lines. There is a wavy line running horizontally along the centre which splits at one end. There are also some marks which could be meant to represent scales/hair. This is possibly a mount from a vessel or furniture although as it is so fragmentary it is hard to say. This was found in one field along with vari…

Equal armed copper alloy brooch dating to the early 2nd century AD. It is incomplete, having broken off before the foot. There would also have been a headloop but this is mostly missing. The brooch consists of a central rectangular boss which is now empty but would have contained either enamel or a stone. Above and below the central boss are horizontal rectangular panels which extend past the edges of the central part. These have raised edges. The brooch would have been hinged but the pin is missing.
