Copper alloy sheet object of unknown date, probably Post Medieval. It is incomplete, the percentage remaining is not clear. It was possibly a circle as what is left is almost a semi-circle. It is bent and cracked. On one face there is decoration or letters incised in, around the edge of the piece. It is not clear what they letters say. It is likely that this would have been a sheet covering of a cast item, possibly furniture but it is not clear.

Lead grape shot from the Post Medieval period. It is sub-spherical in shape and has a slight protrusion which appears to be a casting sprue. Grape shot is a bag of squash ball sized lead balls fired from a cannon and looks like a bunch of grapes. It is often used by the navy but is used on land too. If it has been fired we would usually expect it to be a bit more beaten up as it smashes against the other grape shot in the bag as it is fired out. This is an interesting find and could indicate artillery.
