A copper alloy trumpet brooch dating to the 1st-2nd centuries AD. The brooch has been silvered and is condition, although it is missing the pin and some of the enamel that would have decorated the head, evident from an empty panel. The head is oval in shape, decorated with a raised geometric design enclosed by a raised border. This panel would have contained enamel. A copper alloy male figurine dating to the Roman period. The figure is seated and facing forwards, there is a possible laurel wreath around the head of the figure, but this is difficult to see as it has been broken. His right hand resting on his knee and in the opposite hand the figure is holding circular staff or standard that has been broken half way down. The knees are shoulder width apart and the feet of the figure are attached. This suggests that the figure was probably seated on a chair of some sort, rather than a horse. A copper alloy domed stud inlaid with enamel and dating to the Roman period. The stud is decorated with four petals around a central circle and the very top of the dome. The petals are inlaid with blue enamel and the area surrounding the petals are inlaid with red enamel. The central circle may have been inlaid with enamel however, this no longer remains. In the inside of the dome there is no decoration. The metal is green in colour and there is evidence of corrosion, especially on the inside of the dome. A copper alloy disc brooch dating to the 2nd century AD. The brooch is circular in plan and is complete, except for the fact that it is missing the pin. The face of the brooch is decorated with a triskele motif (three interlocking spirals), although this is now difficult to see. Two hinges remain on the reverse of the object. The metal is dark brown and mottled with green, there is also some corrosion on the face of the brooch. It weighs 4.6g and measures 24.52mm in diameter and 9.28mm in thickness. A cast copper alloy vessel mount dating to the Roman period. The mount depicts an image of Minerva facing and wearing a headress. There is a circular border surrounding the head of Minerva which would be used to mount the object onto a vessel. This is apparant from the fact that there are two circular perforations at the top and left hand side of the head. Part of this border, most of the right hand side infact has been broken. The pendant is rectangular in shape and plan and is missing the suspension loop, although a protrusion at the top of the object to which the loop would have been fixed remains. The top and bottom of the object is decorated with three transverse groves. In the centre of these groves are two incised diagonal lines which cross in the centre of the object. A fragment of a copper alloy spoon, probably dating to the second or third centuries AD. The fragment comprises the bowl and a small portion of the stem. The bowl is mandolin shaped in plan and its upper surface exhibits traces of tinning. On the underside is a triangular ridge which expands and extends to form the offset stem.
