A Post Medieval lead alloy musket ball. The item is spherical in shape with a wide raised strip around the circumerence. One side of the musket ball is flattened, probably as a result of impact, and there are deep irregular grooves on the surface. The item has a mid grey patina. This type of ball was used with a two groove rifle and probably dates to the mid 19th century. Diameter: 20 mm
