A Medieval copper alloy two-piece rectangular buckle frame, dating from c. AD 1350 to AD 1450. The frame has flanged sides and two large drilled holes for a seperate spindle. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p 89, number 552.

A Medieval copper alloy asymmetrical buckle, dating from c. AD 1350 to AD 1450. The buckle frame has one rounded end and one rectangular end, with an integral strap bar at the centre. The pin is missing. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p 87, number 541.

A Post Medieval copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle frame, dating from c. AD 1620 to AD 1680. The short sides of the frame taper outwards to a central point. There is a knop above each end of the integral strap bar. The pin survives; its recurving hook is wrapped around the strap bar. Both the front and back of the buckle frame is plain. There are traces of slivering or tinning on the surface of the object. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p 82, number 513.

Treasure case 2014 T333: Disclaimed, returned to finder A hoard of 2 Roman silver denarii and associated cu alloy Roman coins. The complete denarius was issued in the name of Lucius Verus under the joint reign of the emperors Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus (AD 161-9) and dates to AD 161-2. The other coin is worn so as to be illegible and could date from the Roman Republic to the first to second century AD; coins of Roman Republican date are known to have circulated alongside coins of the second century. The copper alloy coins have not yet been seen at the British Museum.

Two fragments of postmedieval lead alloy window came containing stained glass, probably dating from AD 1500 to AD 1800. The first fragment consists of two cells holding stained glass; one is oval shaped with green glass. Below the oval shape is a roughly diamond-shaped cell holding orange glass. The second fragment is almost identical in form; green glass set in an oval cell and orange glass in a diamond-shaped cell below. However, the dimensions and shape differ slightly, and the lead cames are more squashed due to damage. The lead alloy window came is milled with an H-shaped section…
