A Modern lead alloy draped female figurine of 19th to 20th century date. The figure wears classical-style dress and stands with the weight on her left leg, which is positioned slightly behind her right leg. The right leg protrudes out from the dress from the knee. Her left arm rests at her side; the right arm has broken away and is missing. Whilst the exact function of this figurine is not known, the item is unlikely to be older than the 19th century (Pers comm, Sally Worrell, November 2015).

A Modern sheet-stamped metal item which is probably a small charm from a bracelet or other item of jewellery. The item is in the form of a money bag which is gathered by a string at the top. There is also a circular handle at the top right hand side. At the bottom is a stamp marked '£ s d' (for 'pounds, shilling, pence') which probably alludes to the money bag. The back is hollow and plain.

A Victorian silver ferrule from a pipe stem, dating to AD 1887. The ferrule is rectangular in plan and has four sides. The end nearest to where the pipe bowl was positioned is decorated with a serrated or pinked edge; the other end is straight. A rectangular piece of wood with a sub-circular hole is still intact within the silver ferrule. One side of the ferrule is stamped with the maker's mark of 'EB- WB' and is also stamped with three small hallmarks. Livery button decorated on the front with a ducal coronet with five ostrich feathers. At the back of the button the shank is circular and the numbers '153' are visible as part of the backstamp. This probably relates to the button making company Firmin and Sons Ltd; their address was 153 the Strand, London, between 1876 to 1894 and therefore the button can be dated to this time. A Modern gold dental plate. Although the item is of a relatively modern date, it has been included on the database as it is an unusual item to find. This plate is a partial upper plate; the small pins would have held artificial teeth in place, which could have been porcelain or human. Human teeth were used from the 18th century until the 1860's and were often referred to as 'Waterloo' teeth as they were often taken from soldiers on battlefields.

A white metal replica of a Viking comb-pendant.
The comb-pendant is short with a single row of teeth and is decorated on both faces; length, 42 mm; height, 34 mm. The back is formed by two facing animal heads above broad, U-shaped openings and at the centre top there is an integral loop for suspension. The teeth are thicker at one end than at the other and five are broken, but one of them from one end survives separately.
Surface metal analysis conducted at the British Museum indicated an approximate metal content for the object of 55% lead, 25% antimony, 18% tin and 2% copper. This …
