The X in REX on the obverse is a flattened saltire made up of four wedges, typical of a class 5c coin. The coin has not been cut exactly along the line of the void in the reverse cross but slightly off-centre. Measurements: Diameter 16.28mm: Weight 0.48g. Discussion: The off-centre cut may indicate that the coin was cut whilst in circulation rather than at the mint. Ilger only worked at the London mint.

An incomplete, cast copper-alloy casket key of medieval date. Description: The key is small, the shank being a flattened oval in cross-section. The shape of the bow is an openwork quatrefoil with the upper lobe broken and a piece missing. Where the bow meets the shank there is a moulded double collar. Description: The coin has been rubbed or worn smooth on both sides and then one face has been used to engrave the letters A, B and C in parallel, horizontal lines. The coin has not been adapted in any other way. Measurements: Diameter 27.79mm: Thickness 1.86mm: Weight 8.3g. Discussion: The diameter and thickness of the object suggest it to be a halfpenny from one of the reigns of William III to George III, probably adapted to be used as an engraving practice-piece.

A fragment of medieval, cast lead pilgrims ampulla. Description: The fragment consists of part of the neck of the ampulla with the remains of an attachment loop on each side. The fragment takes the form of a hollow tube, now squashed flat. The top of the neck has been cut at an oblique angle and the bottom edge of the fragment is roughly torn across; damage done in antiquity.
