The X in REX on the obverse is a flattened saltire made up of four wedges, typical of a class 5c coin. The coin has not been cut exactly along the line of the void in the reverse cross but slightly off-centre. Measurements: Diameter 16.28mm: Weight 0.48g. Discussion: The off-centre cut may indicate that the coin was cut whilst in circulation rather than at the mint. Ilger only worked at the London mint.

The shape of the bow is an openwork quatrefoil with the upper lobe broken and a piece missing. Where the bow meets the shank there is a moulded double collar. Discussion: The diameter and thickness of the object suggest it to be a halfpenny from one of the reigns of William III to George III, probably adapted to be used as an engraving practice-piece.

A fragment of medieval, cast lead pilgrims ampulla. Description: The fragment consists of part of the neck of the ampulla with the remains of an attachment loop on each side. The fragment takes the form of a hollow tube, now squashed flat. The top of the neck has been cut at an oblique angle and the bottom edge of the fragment is roughly torn across; damage done in antiquity.
