A medieval, cast lead pot mend. Description: The pot mend consists of two, flattened, irregular discs with a narrow, integrally-cast neck between them. The two discs are of unequal size with the larger disc having an oval impression, suggesting an object was pressed against the lead when it was still soft. The face of this oval is very scratched and abraded but it may originally have carried a design. The smaller disc is much coarser and unworked. Measurements: Length 30.29mm: Width 29.75mm: Thickness 9.51mm: Weight 37.16g.

Measurements: Length: 17.6mm, Diameter: 17.21mm, Weight: 36.38gms Discussion: This was probably a supplementary load to improve the 'stopping power' of a round. A fragment of lead window came of late medieval to post-medieval date. It is T-shaped in plan, and H-shaped in section from the junction of two or three panes of glass.
