A medieval or post-medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The frame is formed of two conjoined ovals such that the sides incurve. The frame is shallowly bevelled externally on the upper surface; it is otherwise flat, as is the lower surface. The pin bar has a trapezoidal cross-section and is recessed slightly on the front. The buckle frame has a mid-grey/green patina and is covered in file marks on the front. Length: 22.4mm, Width: 18.8mm, Thickness: 2.9mm, Weight 3.32g.

A copper-alloy fragment from a probable strap-fitting of medieval date. It consists of a sub-rectangular flat plate that has been broken through a rivet hole towards one of its original terminals. Beyond the hole the object narrows slightly to a waist before a transverse flange of similar width to the plate before it narrows.
