A medieval copper-alloy French jetton. Standing king type inscribed DE S LOVIS (De la Tour no. 1068), dating to c. 1300-1400. Mint uncertain. De la Tour (1899; pl. 22, no. 9). This jetton has a diameter of 21.92 mm, and weighs 1.45 g. This appears to be the first such jetton recorded on this database and it has accordingly been marked as a Find of Note.

A slightly damaged, but almost complete medieval copper-alloy harness pendant suspension mount of thin sheet construction. The mount is sub-rectangular. It is formed of an openwork rectangular plate with a semicircular tab towards each corner of the short sides; one tab has largely broken off. Part of a copper-alloy rosette (LĂ©ontomorphe) brooch, dating from the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period. The remaining portion of the brooch comprises two elements, joined together by a square-sectioned copper-alloy rivet.The base consists of a slightly curved piece of copper-alloy sheet with a diagonally cut right-hand end. The upper element takes the form of a bow-shaped moulding, the left-hand end of which overhangs the edge of the plate.

The jetton has been bent. It has been pierced twice, the holes close together at its centre, possibly for conversion into a jewellery item. It has measurements of 25.73 mm in diameter, and weight 1.55 g. It has a mid-dark green patina.

A medieval gold finger-ring with five-pointed star bezel containing a blue stone, probably a sapphire. The bezel is faceted, with some bevelling on the lower surface too around a flat base. The shoulders are decorated with three engraved chevrons on each side with an inverted chevron below. These bound multiple finely punched annulets. The hoop has a rounded D-shaped cross-section. An 18th-century copper-alloy post-medieval jetton struck by Johann Conrad Hoger, English style (Anne), struck at Nuremberg during his fl. AD 1705-1473. Only a Georgian type is known for this master; his contemporary Johann Jacob Dietzel (fl. AD 1711-1748) struck a similar jetton depicting Queen Anne (Mitchiner 1872). This jetton is considered noteworthy as it is seemingly previously unpublished.

A post-medieval 'crotal' (animal) bell cast in copper alloy, broken into two unequal parts (17th century). The upper half has two sound holes c. 2mm in diameter, both not fully filed. As a result of old damage the bell has broken through one of those holes in a ragged break extending to each side to the two sound holes on the lower hemisphere. A fragment from a 3rd-century copper-alloy Roman Q-radiate of Allectus (AD 293-6) (Reece Period 14), [ ]; galley left with mast, probably cabin and 4 or more rowers; unclear if waves or not. Mint unclear. The fragment consists of an area around the centre of the coin, perhaps representing a fifth of the original flan size. It is possible that the coin was deliberately cut down. This coin has been considered for Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

A cast single-looped copper-alloy buckle frame of medieval date. The small buckle frame is oval with a lipped outer edge. The pin bar is offset and narrowed; the loop of the wire pin survives in place. The rest of the pin is missing. The upper surface is bevelled externally; the lower surface is flat.
