Diameter: 22.0mm. Weight: 0.91g. DA=12:6.

Copper alloy sword belt hanger dating from the post medieval period, that is c. AD1500-1700.
The hanger is complete and in good condition. It is a moulded strip terminating in a hook. The main body is roughly figure-of-eight-shaped with a rivet hole in the centre of each roundel. Each roudel is decorated around the rivet hole with a moulded square and basic interlace mouldings, wound around the straight sides of the two squares.

Complete copper alloy jews harp dating from the modern period, that is the 16th-19th century. Only the frame survives: the central hooked iron prong that was plucked to produce a note is missing. In plan, it has a circular head and tapering arms both of which are characteristically lozenge-shaped in cross-section. On the front face, there is a rabbet to accommodate an iron prong. The arms are complete. File marks are visible on both faces. The surfaces are reddish brown. Surprisingly, there is no iron staining within the rabbet.
