A probably Post Medieval, complete cast lead alloy hexagonal uniface token with impressed central crucifix or cross. The other face is plain. This token likely falls into Powell Type 14. Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts; they are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1550-1800 AD. An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup strap mount (Williams Class A, Type 12) of early medieval date (c.1000-1100). A saltire cross three of the four lozenges survive,with just two of its original rivets or pellets - the rivet at the base is definitely a rivet but the central pellet is not visible on the reverse.  There is a reverse step or stand at the base 6.2mm deep X 18.35mm wide.  Dusty olive green patina with darker green rivets and edges. The obejct surives as a zoomorphic head possibly a lion or cat head.  It is roughly sub-rectangular shape with ears protruding at the top two corners. Description: The mount is in the form of a 'Tudor' rose, with small trefoil tabs projecting from the curve between each rose petal.
