A flint tranchet axehead from the early Mesolithic period (c.9000 - 8000 BC). The flint is a brownish-cream colour with crumbling inclusions visible. The axe is crudely worked, with a rounded cutting edge, roughly parallel sides and a pointed butt. It has a broadly triangular cross-section. The flint appears to be in the second stage of being worked. The broad shape of the blade and technique used of the removal of a single flake with a transverse blow is common in the early Mesolithic. Lead cap from a powder measure (also called a powder-charger), complete but deformed, having been squashed in the ground. It is in the form of a cup or bucket of oval shape, 18.45mm by 14.52mm . The oval base has an additional loop at each end of the oval, and the cup has a thickened rim 2mm wide around the top. Length 30.94mm, width 14.52mm, 17.53mm high. Weight 18.55g. These caps fitted on to the top of wooden powder chargers, each of which held the right amount of powder for a single charge of a gun. Incomplete lead-alloy miniature toy musket, dating from the post-medieval period. The barrel is of sub-oval cross-section with a hollow bore of 5mm. There is a raised ridge along the top of the barrel, commencing 5mm from the handle end and measuring 10mm long and 2mm high. A complete post-medieval (c.1580-1820) cast copper-alloy crotal bell. It comprises two hemispherical domes divided horizontally by a circumferential ridge. A Post Medieval lead token circa 1500-1650AD.. On the obverse is a roughly central embossed bird, possibly a hawk, with a row of three pellets to each side, also raised. The reverse has a central raised cross design with slightly splayed ends, with a raised round pellet in each quarter. There is a piece missing so that the token is not completely round. 17.25mm diameter, 2.16mm thick, weighs 3.2g.

Cast copper-alloy large size annular ring buckle of medieval date (1200-1400). The buckle is circular. The frame does not show any marks to which a pin would be fitted and there is no evidence of a recessed pin rest on the frame. The surface is plain and undecorated. The pin is complete and is attached to the buckle by a single loop which has been folded to secure the join. The pin is circular in plan and tapers to a rounded point. A gilt copper-alloy mount of Post-Medieval date - Circa 17th century. The mount is loosely heart shaped with a central knop at the top, and an inverted fleur-de-lis or trefoil shaped knop extending from the pointed end. The front of the mount has moulded decoration with the remains of gilding in swirls and the surface of the metal has red and green tints. On the reverse the remains of two longitudinally oriented spikes are present though one is broken and worn. The mount is 39.94mm long, 23.55mm wide, 1.5mm thick and weighs 6.88g.

An early Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast gilded copper-alloy button brooch (c. 450-c. 550AD), complete except for the pin. A cast copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount of Williams' Class A type 11A. The mount is triangular in plan with a circular rivet hole at the top, now encrusted with iron corrosion on the reverse. The mount is quite worn but it has a raised outer border, within which is a rampant beast, similar to a lion or dog facing left, with its head thrown back in a howl and its right foreleg raised.
