A worn copper-alloy as or dupondius of Antoninus Pius (AD 138-61), dating to the period AD 153-155 (Reece Period 7). Probably a Libertas reverse type depicting Libertas standing left holding pileus, S-C in the field. Mint of Rome. This is probably a Coin of British Association similar to examples noted by Walker at the Sacred Spring in Bath, Walker, 1988: pp. 294, 297-298; cf. RIC III, p. 142, nos. 917, 920, 932-933.
