Description of find
The find comprises one gold and ten silver medieval English coins, of the reigns of Edward I-II (3), Edward III (2), Henry V (1) and Henry VI (5) (see appended Schedule).
Metal content
English silver coins of the 14th-15th centuries are typically of silver of high fineness, in excess of 90% Ag by weight. The gold standard is virtually pure precious metal (23ct 3½gr, or 99.5%).

Metal content English silver coins of the 14th-15th centuries are typically of silver of high fineness, in excess of 90% Ag by weight.
