An incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman, Type 1, cast copper alloy strap union dating  c.100BC -AD100. The object is formed of two conjoined openwork circles arranged one upon the other in a figure eight. To each side of each loop are the worn broken off ends of the terminals of a straight bar which would have run between them to accommodate the straps.  The reverse of the object is flat. The object is worn and corroded, dark green in colour with pale green patches of corrosion. Measurements: 25.33 mm long, 34.79 mm wide, 9.96 mm thick and weighs 17.33 grams. …

An incomplete and heavily corroded silver plated Iron Age unit of the Southern Region / Regini and Atrebates, dating to the period c.AD 10-40, Verica Cornucopiae Victory type. The copper-alloy core survives preserves traces of the obverse type that depicts a Pine cone wand (thyrsus) between two cornucopiae, a wine cup below, COMMI F around. A plated copy of ABC p. 73, no. 1241. Measurements: 12.46mm long, 12.74mm wide, 1.83mm thick and it weighs 12.05 grams.

A complete cast copper Roman Colchester derivative Harlow, double lug brooch dating c. AD 50--150 AD. The brooch has flat slightly concave open wings with no cap and are decorated with a moulded groove at each end. An incomplete copper alloy Roman nail cleaner of Crummy 1983, Type 2a (AD 43-200). The remaining section of the nail cleaner is leaf shape, and flat. At the top of the nail cleaner there is an incomplete circular attachment loop. The loop is attached to a rectangular neck which possibly has three diagonal incised lines on rear.. A fragment of a Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Langton Down Type dating to the mid 1st century AD (25-60 AD). The brooch is incomplete and is represented by the head and upper bow only. The foot, catchplate, spring and pin are all missing from old breaks. Of the head only part of the cylindrical cover which held the spring survives. This cover is open ended and formed of a flat sheet which would have been pinched closed. The copper alloy fragment comprises of a portion of the loop with two opposing integral lip-shaped mouldings formed from a single outwardly projecting disc. Theses are situated on the side edges. A Roman incomplete cast copper alloy zoomorphic (quadruped) plate brooch. The form is unknown due to the damage. It probably dates from the second century AD. The fragment consists of a rectangular arm with the remains of the hinge on the rear at the top. At the opposite end on the rear are the remains of the catch plate. The pin is missing. The bottom of the arm widens out but is damaged on both sides to give any recognisable shape. There are traces of silvering on the front. The fragment measures 21.3mm long, 13.9mm wide, 2.1mm thick, (8.4mm thick at catch plate). It weighs 1.63 grams.

Fragment of a Medieval copper alloy cauldron, representing one of the supporting feet, AD.1300-1500. The foot is shaped into the form of an armoured lower leg with greave and sabaton depicted.
