Obverse inscription: +EDWA[RD R]ANGL DNS hYB. Reverse: Long cross, three pellets in each quarter. Reverse inscription: CIVI/TAS/DVR/EME. The coin measures 18.48mm diameter, 0.67mm thick and weighs 1.14g.

A worn and bent silver Medieval long cross penny of Edward I-III (1272-1377 AD). Mint: Canterbury. A portion of the coin corresponding to the beginning of the obverse legend has been bent at a 90-degree angle. The obverse bears traces of a crowned bust facing and its legend is inscribed: EDWAR(R?) ANGL DNS hYB. Unfortunately not enough of the style of the legends, nor attributes of the obverse depiction remain for a full identification.
