An incomplete fragment of an unidentified copper alloy object probably dating to the Post-Medieval period.  A cast copper alloy object in the form of a curved horn, with a shallow V-shaped cross section. The tip is complete but there is a transverse break at the opposite end.  The upper surface is plain and bevelled with a central ridge running from the break to the tip. The reverse is concave and hollow. Length: 27.28mm; Width: 11.26mm; thickness: 4.02mm and weight: 4.1g.

The reverse is concave with the remains of two integral lugs centrally placed near each short edge. The mount is plain and undecorated. It is heavily corroded deep red with bright green patches. At the centre of the top face is set a circular domed copper-alloy element. A near-complete iron and lead nail. AD. 1600-1800. A wrought iron nail with its head sheathed in lead, possibly to delay its corrosion in an exposed position. The shaft is rectangular in section and the lead head is semi-spherical with a flat top. The nail measures 23.2mm long. The head measures 20.3mm diameter and 9.06mm thick. An incomplete lead alloy decorative mount in the form of a flower of post-medieval date c. AD 1600-1800. The sub-circular mount is flat and moulded in high relief, the centre of the flower is flat and circular with a raised rim. An incomplete cast copper alloy mount or strap fitting probably dating to the Medieval Period, c. AD. 1250-1500. The object is sub-oval in plan. The terminal end is rounded with the opposite edge being straight below which are two rivet holes. One hole still has the rivet in place. The other rivet is missing with the hole truncated by the abraded outside edge. The object is very corroded but does have feint traces of gilding remaining. The object measures 32.08mm long, 15.29mm wide, 0.85mm thick and weighs 1.7 grams.

The frame is trapezoidal with a slightly thickened, wider and D-sectioned outside edge, and a thinner, narrower, rectangular-sectioned bar. The stud takes the form of a domed convex circular plate with an integral rivet projecting from the centre of the hollowed reverse. The rivet is square in cross-section and tapers to a sharp point.
