A Post Medieval Nuremberg "Lion of St. Mark" type copper alloy jetton dating to c1500-1570. The coin is very worn with corrosion and the legends illegible. Obverse: The winged lion of St. Mark in Venice, holding a book of gospels. Crown initial mark. Reverse: A large orb within three lobed tressure. The jetton measures 26.23mm diameter, 0.87mm thick and weighs 2.8 grams.

Copper alloy rose/orb Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (master 1586 d. 1635). The obverse of the jetton shows a rose surrounded by three crowns alternating with three lis. The obverse inscription is: HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR. The reverse shows an imperial orb in a three-arched tressure with angles at each joint. The reverse inscription is GOTES REICH BLIBT EWICK, meaning 'God's kingdom (realm) remains eternal'. This matches Mitchner 1540.

A post medieval copper alloy jetton of the Lion of St Mark type. Obverse shows the lion of St Mark facing left, reverse has the imperial orb is atressure of three arches. The legend appears to be nonsense suggesting this is an anonymous issue dating c. 1500-1570 made at Neuremberg (Mitchiner 1988, 361, ref. 1107). The token is 26.0mm in diameter, 1.1mm thick and weighs 4.9mm.
