A fourth century Roman nummus of Constantine I, c. AD 307 - 337 or Constantinopolis, c. AD 330 - 346. The obverse shows a laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing to the left with the inscription: CONSTANTINOPOLIS. The reverse shows a soldier standing to left, holding a spear and leaning on a shield.
