A complete late Neolithic to Bronze Age stone perforated battleaxe, dating to 2500 - 1800 BC. The axe is broadly triangular in plan. In section the triangular blade narrows sharply to a slightly rounded rectangular butt (rectangular with rounded corners). The axe has a flared blunted crescentic edge. The blade of the battleaxe is on the same alignment (vertical) as the perforation. It is broadly convex in profile and appears complete. An Iron Age copper-alloy probable strap fitting, probably dating to c. 800 - 1 BC. The object is made up of a slightly trapezoidal square frame with an integral irregularly sized sub-spherical knop on each corner. The arms of the frame have a flattened oval cross section. One of the knops appears to have some corrosion or be damaged? Late Middle Bronze Age - Late Bronze Age socketed spear tip fragment. 27mm in length, 14mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 5.48g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and is badly damaged. It has a tapering cross section which terminates in a rounded point. This is flanked by one partial flat 'blade' It has a very slight rib on each surface and is very worn.

Bronze Age copper alloy spearhead, 97mm long, 28mm wide and 15mm thick, with a weight of 52.83g. (weight includes wet mud still present into the shaft). The object has a large conical shaped socket with a sub-circular cross section, when recorded the socket was filled with damp mud. There is a circular hole, c.3mm in diameter, 8mm from the base. A fragment from a copper alloy spearhead of middle to late Bronze Age date. Only the tip survives. It is very damaged and corroded, but roughly sub-triangular in form and with a lozenge section and a wide hemispherical rib running along the centre of each face. The flattened sections to either side of this are very damaged and the tip is missing. At the other end is an irregular break with a slight dimple in the centre suggesting that the spear had a socket. Copper alloy tanged chisel or narrow flat axe of later Early Bronze Age to early Middle Bronze Age date. It is roughly sub-triangular in form with a slightly lentoid section, but unusually long and narrow for an axe of this type. It has an expanded, curved blade at one end and a rounded butt at the other. It is not clear whether there are slight flanges along each side or a median bevel. The surface is highly pitted and corroded. Two similar axes have been recorded on the PAS database - HESH-298FF4 and HESH-041538. Length: 55.0mm, width: 12.0mm, thickness: 3.0mm, weight: 0.77g

Cast copper alloy (bronze) fragment from a spearhead of uncertain Mid - Late Bronze Age date (1400-750 BC). The fragment has lost all its diagnostic features and so the classification cannot be further refined. The fragment comprises a section of the upper part of the spear blade, specifically the lozenge sectioned central mid-rib and a feathered section of blade, the tip of the spearhead is lost.
