Probably late Neolithic (2500-2100 BC). Peter Reavil suggests that this is "a secondary (due to the amount of cortex - less than 50%) debitage flake of probable neolithic date. Although the artefact resembles the shape of a leaf-shaped arrowhead certian diagnostic features are not present, bi-facial ripple flaking being the major one. The ventral face shows no flaking, the dorsal face shows a series of flake scars and abrupt retouch (possibly deliberate possibly plough derived) along one edge and at the point.
