Copper alloy dupondius or As of Vespasian, AD72. The obverse shows the Emperor facing right, with laurate crown, and reads, IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS IIII. The reverse shows Pax standing facing left, holding an olive branch and caduceus in her left hand, and a patera in her right above an altar. The inscription is illegible - probably should read PAX AVG Diameter 27.2mm, thickness 4.0mm, weight 12.3 grams.
