A fragment of a Neolithic partially polished flint axehead or chisel, the cutting edge reworked probably in the Early Bronze Age, and probably after the original object had been damaged, to form a knife, scraper or other tool. It measures 42.32x52.92x13.77mm and weighs 28.92g. The flint is 100% heavily patinated, although the narrow flake removal scars on the retouched face are of a slightly different colour to the patination of the polished areas (towards the cutting edge on this face).
