A complete Medieval cast gilded copper alloy harness pendant. The pendant is shield shaped, with a circular integral suspension loop. The loop is set perpendicular to the face of the pendant, on a short, rectangular sectioned neck. The front is decorated with an eagle displayed, there are possibly traces of gilding on the eagle. The remainder of the shield would have contained enamel, no visible traces remain. The harness pendant is 39.25mm in length, 25.6mm wide, 6.55 thick and weighs 10.33 grams.
