A fragment of a Roman copper-alloy bracelet or armlet decorated with transverse grooves (c. AD 200-410). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and tapers in width from the break at the wider end to the broken terminal. It is ‘D’-shaped in cross-section and is curved in side profile. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy flat, enamelled disc (sexfoil) plate brooch (AD 80-250). Part of the plate, the spring, pin and part of the catch-plate are missing. The front is decorated with a six-pointed star with concave arms around a single copper alloy pellet of reserved metal. The points of the star each terminate in a rounded knop.
