An incomplete Modern cast lead tin alloy (pewter) commemorative medallion celebrating the jubilee reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901). Pierced at 12 o' clock. Obverse: COMMEMORATION OF THE JUBILEE REIGN OF H G M QUEEN VICTORIA 1837-1887: Veiled bust left (B & R below) Reverse: JAMES BLAKE MAYOR YARMOUTH ISLE OF WIGHT; Three masted sailing ship left with sails furled on the yardarms, date of 1887 at sides. Diameter: 40.52mm. Weight: 17.11g. The medallion has been coated in oil.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy slavery abolition medallion/token (c. 1814). Side 1: THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH ON HIM (ROM). Side 2: EXORT SERVANTS TO BE OBEDIENT UNTO THEIR MASTERS SHEWING ALL GOOD FIDELITY (TITUS). Diameter: 28.4mm. Weight: 7.72g. This medallion was probably made at the Soho Mint in Birmingham about 1814.
