A complete post-Medieval lead alloy circular disc, possibly a gaming piece or weight (c. 1500-c. 1800). At the front, the object has a central 'nipple' and raised rim at the outer edge. Between the rim and nipple there are two concentric raised rings. The reverse is flat and plain. Diameter: 15.4mm; thickness: 4.7mm. Weight: 3.73g.

A complete lead alloy circular gaming piece or weight of possible Medieval date (c. 1200-c. 1500). This object is moulded at the front, flat and plain at the back. At the front the sides are stepped with a circular depression at the centre. The centre has a 'beaded' outer circle. Within the circle, at 12 o' clock, there is a raised mark which is similar to an omega. A contemporary coin has been hammered into the front to produce an incuse impression. The disc is pierced on one face with five pits, one at the centre surrounded by four more evenly spaced. The opposite face of the object is undecorated. The function of the disc is unclear. A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy gaming counter copying the gold 'spade' guinea of George III (1760-1820), dated 1795 on counter. These spade counters are so called because of the shape of the shield on the reverse. Copies were made from 1788 by a variety of manufacturers, mostly in Birmingham. A complete cast lead gaming piece or weight of Unknown date, possibly Medieval to post-Medieval. This object is roughly cone-shaped in form. The base is broadly flat and the top is rounded. A central vertical irregular hole through the piece is smaller at the top than it is at the bottom. At the side there are four unevenly spaced vertical ribs. Between each rib there is a raised abstract feature which may represent a symbol. The object has a well developed buff patina overall. Height: 19.45mm; width: 19.87mm; thickness: 18.37mm. A possible gaming piece, adapted from a copper-alloy penny of George III (1760-1820), dated 1797. Obverse: GEORGIVS III D G REX; draped and laureate bust right. Reverse: BRITANNIA 1797; Britannia seated left. The obverse has four stamped and unevenly spaced ring-and-dot motifs close to the rim. Each has a stamped line through it. Slightly off-centre, a smaller ring-and-dot motif has small lines radiating from it. Complete cast lead object, possibly a gaming piece of Unknown date. Length 27mm, width 27mm and 7mm thick. Weight 24.38g. In plan, the object is roughly in the form of a cross pattee but has a straight edge between each arm of the cross. It is flat on the upper face and also flat on the rear face. However, at the centre of the rear face is a raised circular feature which is about 0.5mm proud of the surface and 6.5mm in diameter. This feature may be sprue. The object is in good condition and has a whitish/grey patina.
