A complete Mesolithic flaked flint pick, or 'Pycombe Adze' (9000- 4000 BC). Butler 2005: 106, fig. 42).
This slender implement is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section.
It is matt orange and has been 'beach-rolled'. This implement was probably made from an elongated pebble.
Length: 132.2mm; width: 42.9mm; thickness: 27.7mm. Weight: 199.94g.
Found on the surface within the inter-tidal zone.

This implement is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section.
It has a shiny yellow/buff patina with purple staining from marine organic plant growth. The arrises are sharp.
Length: 148.0mm; width: 57.9mm; thickness: 46.5mm. Weight not recorded.
Found on the surface of a shingle bank within the inter-tidal zone.
