The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is about 8.4mm long, 11.6mm wide, 3.5mm thick and has an inverted 'U'-shaped aperture. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential joining rib. At either side of the suspension loop, about half way down the side of the upper hemisphere, is a circular sound hole. Most of the lower hemisphere is missing.

The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential rib. However, this fragment mainly consists of one side of the lower hemisphere of the bell.
It can be seen from the small portion of the upper hemisphere that it was plain. The lower hemisphere, below the circumferential joining rib, has a 'sun-burst' design.
