A complete but slightly damaged Medieval silver composite biconvex three-piece button (c. 1270-c. 1500). Treasure case no. 2020 T78. The hollow head of this button is made from two die-pressed sheets soldered together. It has a separate soldered silver wire attachment loop at the back which is sub-oval in cross-section.
