A probable MODERN IMITATION of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) silver penny of Ethelred II (978-1016). Bare headed type, 997-1003 (North 1994, 159, ref: 774). Moneyer Leofman, Canterbury mint.
The coin's weight is too high for an early-medieval issue and its style and quality of execution is poor suggesting it is a modern imitation.
Obverse: +EÐELRED REX ANGLO[ ]; Bare headed bust left
Reverse: LEOF[M]ANM-OCÆNT Voided long cross
Diameter: 22.3mm. Weight: 2.97g.
This coin has been double struck on the obverse and reverse.

An incomplete Modern pressed silver sheet object, possibly a button cover (c. 1800-c. 1950 AD)
It is very thin and flimsy with no means of attachment other than the down-turned rim. On the front is the raised word: VECTIS in serifed capital letters. The V is larger than the other letters.
Diameter: 16.05mm thickness: 1.36mm. Weight: 0.28g.

An unidentified silver object, probably a jewellery item of probable Modern date.
This object consists of two main elements.
It has a quadrilateral frame with its top side forming a shallow 'V' and the lower point of the frame is soldered to a sub-lozenge shaped plate.
The frame is bevelled on the inner and outer edges at the front and back forming a lozenge-shape in cross-section. Short and regularly spaced lengths of twisted wire are soldered to the outer bevels of the frame on the front and back. A Modern silver clog clasp (c. 1800- c. 1900). The clasp has been made from sheet silver and appears to have stamped out. At one end there is an anchor shaped clasp and at the opposite end a smaller clasp is rectangular. Both are bent rearwards through almost 180°. The front of the clasp is decorated with three vertical panels incised with tendrils. There is a plain panel flanking the central decorated panel. A complete and misshapen Modern bracelet with snake-head terminals. The hoop, 2.8mm wide and about 1.1mm thick, is decorated on the outer face and is flat and plain on the inner face. It expands in width at each end to form terminals. On the top of each head is a gilded circular depression with the remains of a red glass setting. Decoration on the hoop consists of a pattern of alternating raised motifs arranged transversely; a sub-rectangular billet alternating with three contiguous annulets. At one point the pattern is interrupted where there is a soldered join, possibly a repair.
