An almost complete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy weight (c. 450-c. 1000). This weight is circular in plan. The sides are facetted and chamfered curving to a smaller, slightly convex, almost flat base. It is unclear how many facets there are. The flat upper face is decorated with seven ring-and-dot motifs. Six motifs form a circle close to the edge and another is close to the centre. This object has a coarse surface with a greenish brown patina. There are small breaks on the edge of the upper surface. This hard fired sherd is yellowish red (Munsell Color: 5YR 5/6) and is tempered with beach sand. The outer face is decorated with regularly spaced horizontal grooves (rilling). An incomplete and misshapen lead alloy vat or tank, possibly dating to the Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period (c. 750-c. 950). The handle, if it possessed one, is missing. Prior to being damaged, this vessel appears to have been circular in plan. From the base the sides flare outwards and upwards and the top is finished with a simple down-turned rim. Cast copper alloy unidentified object of possible Early-Medieval date. Length 61mm, width 11.5mm and 5mm thick. Weight 10.92g. The object consists of two sections which are divided by an ?engraved chevron-shaped motif. One section is bevelled at the front and flat at the back.there is an old break at the end. The other section is sub-circular in cross-section and has a rounded blunt end. Where the patina has survived it is a dark green colour.

An Early-Medieval silver-gilt sword-ring. c. AD 410 - c. AD 600). Outer diameter of free running ring: 15.0mm; outer diameter of rivet ring head: 14.2mm; overall weight: 7.71g. Treasure case no. 2006 T544. The fitting consists of a free running ring interlocking with an almost closed-up ring head of a "rivet" for attachment to one of the guards of a sword hilt. An incomplete cast copper alloy sword pommel of Early Medieval date (AD 475 – AD 525). Length 22.2mm, width 34.8mm and 12mm thick. Weight 7.91g. The pommel is a “cocked-hat” type. It is rectangular in plan and pyramidal in side profile with concave sides. The underside of the cap is hollow. Projecting from the centre of one end is the remains of a D-shaped perforated lug.
